DHS Systems inaugurates Alabama plant

Feb. 18, 2008 —DHS Systems LLC held a ribbon-cutting on Jan. 23 to officially open its $9.2 million plant in Limestone County, Alabama.

The company manufactures rapidly deployable shelters used by the U.S. military in remote areas.

By summer 2008, approximately 150 people will be employed at the 130,000 square-foot facility, located in Southpoint Industrial Park.

Participating in the project were Limestone County Economic Development Association, Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce, Limestone County Commission, and TVA.
